Bud and Bloom

Earth I'm jealous of you,
I hate how fake, we as humans are,
We are so skin deep,
We like to think we are invincible,
Untouchable and inhumane,
But we are all the same,
Under our skin is the same blood,
The same bones,
But earth you are so beautiful,
So real and alive,
Under your skin, is life,
Under your first layer are buds and little bits of grass,
Bright green and thrusting to the surface and reaching for the sun,
Then bugs,
Worms and beetles consuming the unwanted,
Roots and clay, dark and light sands,
Giving the earth life and love,
Earth I'm jealous of you,
One day i will feed the earth and give back what Ive taken,
One day i will nourish you.like you have nourished me,
So thank you earth,
I will lay within you someday, until then i will try my best to live like you,
Pure and beautiful....
